The GEWO story

GEWO Feinmechanik GmbH specialises in complex and challenging work pieces for the semiconductor industry, aerospace, medicine and research. The family-owned company with headquarters in Hörlkofen near Munich employs more than 430 people, 70 of whom are apprentices. The high quality standards that went into developing the GEWO 3D printing technology for additive manufacturing are deeply rooted in GEWO.

Uncompromising Precision

Uncompromising precision, the continual exploration of innovative technologies and sustainable corporate governance have been the pillars of the company's business success for almost 40 years - and the trigger for founding the GEWO 3D division.

Future-oriented corporate strategy

GEWO is creating another pillar for its future-oriented corporate strategy with the development, manufacture and distribution of additive manufacturing machines. Since GEWO is not in the business of trying to fool anyone when it comes to manufacturing precision parts, everyone knows exactly how much the industry demands from a 3D printer.

Performance as a principle!

"Performance as a principle" is not just a claim, it is a requirement and yardstick for the innovation and technological quality of GEWO 3D.

GEWO takes responsibility

GEWO takes responsibility for the satisfaction and safety of its employees, customers and business partners. Perfect evidence of this is shown by our ISO 9001:2015 certification, trusted supplier awards, such as those from ZEISS and Applied Materials, the "Bavaria's Best 50" award received twice in 2014 and 2018 and the ASU/BJU "Bavarian Family Entrepreneur of the Year 2015" award in the category "SOCIAL".
